Hey... It's Josh!

Hey Guys! It's SO great to write back on this blog! (wipes tear from my eye) *sniff
So... how was it there? Yeah Yanna, all you said happened except that:

1. We didn't have gazillion bags. You only are allowed to have one hand carried bag for each person. Total = 5 not gazillion (what is the numerical figure for that anyway)
2. We didn't open up our bags to the security. You know the new technology now - X-Rays
3. I didn't buy a soggy sandwich from the kiosk. Instead I bought Chuckie! Were there even sandwiches there?
4. My siblings didn't check out the huge window with the airplanes. We were sitting farthest from the window. Gabby was too scared to look at the planes and Honey was too busy thinking of herself and her tummy. (roflolz!)
5. My parents weren't talking and talking and talking. Instead my mom sat on the bench and my dad went to the Mabuhay Lounge to sleep. The sad thing is I couldn't go to the lounge to nap myself. So I napped on the bag. Hah!
6. We didn't give our tickets to a lady wearing lipstick (matte? I don't get itk). Instead we gave it to a lady wearing a uniform WITHOUT lipstick.
7. Yeah I was watching National Geographic but I wasn't that worried. God would be there for me. If it did happen, I hoped it would land on the ocean and I would have my first swimming lesson. Besides, Gabby was the one scared, mostly.
8. The captain said the security measures AFTER we seated. We were the first to board the plane. Talk about low economy class. My dad was really getting cheap. He almost put me on the Mabuhay class so I could internet and chat with you guyz but I figured it would be useless since it's 10:30 and you would be sleeping.
9. The video wasn't about plane styles. It was..... NARNIA! Woohoo!
10. I didn't feel pressure in my ears since I was yawning very much. it was late so I kept yawning and yawning.
11. I couldn't see land in the window. BTW i sat on a window seat. I only saw lights and highways illuminated in it and I saw how dark it was. roflolz!
12. They didn't serve me roasted chestnuts. They gave me this beefy type of food. Oh yeah... I drfank 2 cups of coffee.
13. I knew I was on a 13 hour flight. Realizing airplane magazines are boring I went off and watched Narnia. Then after that I watched Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Then, coz' I was soooo bored, I watched Harry Potter Goblet of Fire. It was VERY bitin. I only saw the part when Harry was in this graveyard with the others around him. I don't get it. Then after that the sun was up and I opened the window and looked out to the clouds. But then I realized scientifically why there was global warming. If you do not want to be bored with natural science do not talk to me. But if you want to be entertained by my sense of humour, do come to me.
14. I didn't sleep on the airplane for 13 hours. Counting 12 more hours, 12 + 13 =25 See! I didn't sleep for a WHOLE DAY!

Sorry to criticize hehe. That was for fun. BTW, I liked seeing my brother getting freaked out too. Hehe!

Now... time to tell my whole story. We arrived at 7:20 PM and was surprised to see the sun still up. Thank God! When we arrived we didn't spill our bags in security. After the fingerprinting thingymajig, the guard told us to skip the security process. How kind of Americans! From SanFoInterAirport, we met our grandmother. Can you balieve my grandmother looks like one of my aunts? She looks young! Also, they have a son who's as old as me! Whoa! My uncle is as old as me! We went from the airport to their house in Sacramento. Took 1 hour. American air is so crisp, cold and clean that the minute I stepped into the parking lot, my stuffy nose became unstuffy and I wanted to take off my jacket to feel the freshness! Their freshness here is better then freshness from shampoos obviously. BTW the airplane was SO hot! Ay naku. So back to travelling. It took 1 hour. when we came out of the airport it was 8:00. So I got to see SanFo at night. Very nice with all those yellow lights! We went straight to Sacramento and arrived at the house. It was about 9 then and Gabby and Honey were awake coz of Jet Lag. I was VERY sleepy since I didn't sleep for a whole day. But instead I watched TV from an old fashioned TV which was placed in the guest room. You know those TV's with a knob to change channels back in the 60's I think. I watched a show that was horrifyingly scientifical with my brother and true enough it was about global warming which I noticed in the plane. It made us stay awake until 2 AM. So I stayed awake for 25 + 7 = 32 hours. Then I slept for 11 hours and woke up at 1 PM. Not because of jet lag but because of extreme sleepiness. We were supposed to go shopping early morning but we woke up late. But my sis insisted on going shopping. So they went shopping. But my brother and I stayed coz' we didn't really like shopping. We played XBox all day. Hehe. This house is huge! They have a cool library too! Next day we woke up early so we could go to Jelly Belly Factory. They make these bean-like jelly beans (roflolz! very very descriptive) that have many different flavors including dirt, booger and earwax (obviously inspired by Harry Potter). We then went to a shopping market. Since I didn't really like shopping, I sat and read the Da Vinci Code, hearing what they say about it and Sjay's term paper. And then I ate this HUGE pizza slice that was twice as big as a yellow cab slice. We then went home and slept. The next day we went to Lake Tahoe and played in the snow! I got hit by a snowball. Now I know how it feels like in the Long Winter of Narnia. We went to Reno subnamed "The Biggest Little City in the World" and all we saw there were casinos. Hehe. Don't worry, I haven't turned to gambling yet. :D We slept in one of our relative's houses in Nevada then next day, which was today, we came back to the same old house. When we arrived, me and Gabby played XBox again. hehe. And Honey went shopping again. And then I went to this computer, read all of your posts and wrote this very long post.

See y'all on the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after ...................... the day after tomorrow!

From Joshua

P.S. Please tell me what you want as pasalubong.
P.P.S. The maple tree you were talking about, Yanna. I'm not sure if I could buy one or get one or even bring it to Phils unless I smuggle it. But... I found a nice tree and its spring so guess what flowers it has.... Sakura! Cherry blossom. I got some hehe. I could put it in a blank book or this scrapbook or something. Hey, tell me if you'd like some flowers!
P.P.P.S. Jasper, the Sims 2 must be dusty by now. Hehe! And I'm coming back on May 20 not anymore May 17 so... yeah
P.P.P.P.S. I love writing post scripts.
P.P.P.P.P.S. God Bless! Love y'all!
